Transfer: Arsenal midfielder leaves Arteta’s squad in club-record deal

Fulham have reached an agreement in principle with Arsenal for the signing of Emile Smith Rowe.

The deal, which will be a club-record for Fulham, sees them pay an initial £27m, plus add-ons that could take the total to £34m.

The two Premier League clubs are sorting out the final details of the deal.

Smith Rowe, who has agreed personal terms with the Cottagers, is expected to have a medical this week.

The Fulham squad fly to Portugal for a pre-season training camp tomorrow.

It is hoped Smith Rowe will join up with them at some point during the camp.
