Transfer: Ikechukwu completes move to Mexico’s Cruz Azul

Super Falcons striker Vivian Ikechukwu has joined Mexican club, Cruz Azul Femenil, DAILY POST reports.

Ikechukwu joined Cruz Azul on a free transfer after leaving Turkish outfit Besiktas.

The 27-year-old spent just six months at Besiktas after joining the club in January.

The forward started her professional career at the Lithuanian club FC Gintra Universitetas.

Ikechukwu once had stints with Nigeria Women Football League clubs Abia Angels and Rivers Angels.

She has represented Nigeria 10 times, with two goals to her name.
