Transfer: Smith Rowe to join Arsenal EPL rivals in £35million deal

Arsenal are close to agreeing a £35million deal to sell Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham, according to The Athletic.

The Gunners had turned down the first bid of £30million from their Premier League rivals.

Crystal Palace are also keen on Smith Rowe and are reportedly working on a new proposal worth £35m plus add-ons.

However, Fulham “have manoeuvred themselves into a position” to land the 23-year-old and are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Arsenal.

Smith Rowe is still yet to finalise personal terms with Fulham, as well as undergo a medical with the west London side.

The midfielder made just 14 appearances in the 2022/2023 campaign due to a groin injury, while last season, he started just three games in the Premier League. Over the last two campaigns, he has played a combined total of 508 minutes in the Premier League.
