BREAKING: Protesters block Abuja-Kaduna Highway

Thousands of travellers have been left stranded at the Suleja axis of the Abuja-Kaduna highway in Niger State as protesters block the highway leading in and out of Abuja.

The blockade by the protesters on a section of the expressway has now affected the flow of traffic, leaving commuters and travellers stranded.

Commuters who spoke to DAILY POST say the gridlock has extended down many kilometres and heading towards the Zuma military barracks.

“There are few policemen standing from afar, but they can do nothing about the roadblock as the number of the youths is beyond their control,” Daily Trust reports.
