Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has expressed how much he loves watching Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo play.
Fulham fell 1-0 in the hands of Manchester United in the Premier League opener on Friday at Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old, who came from the Red Devils’ academy, made his senior debut for the club in January 2023.
He won the 2022-23 Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Liverpool legend opened up about his admiration for Mainoo and his growth on the pitch.
“I think he has been an absolute revelation. I love watching him play and what he did in the summer,” he said.
“He came through last season, we were asking questions about United’s midfield.
“It was Casemiro who needed a partner, now it’s Mainoo who needs a partner. I think he is going to be a superstar.”
