The Nigeria Premier Football League have reaffirmed its commitment to driving the continuous growth of the top flight.

NPFL chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye stated this in a chat with the media.

Elegbeleye acknowledged the challenges that could have led to postponement of the 2024-25 season’s kick-off date.

“There will always be issues,” Elegbeleye told Totsports.

“But we must consistently find solutions because a lot is at stake, especially regarding our August start.
