TCN commences reconstruction of destroyed Tower 16 in Kano

The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, said its staff has commenced the dismantling and re-erection of its collapsed Tower 16 at Gunduwawa Village, Gezawa Local Government of Area of Kano State.

DAILY POST recalls that a trailer carrying a container drove into the base of the tower, destroying it and causing outages in several communities.

But the General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah in a statement said the contractor has resumed work at the site even as it assured that the tower installation will be completed by August 22, 2024.
