Transfer: His stock has fallen – Expert provides latest update on Victor Osimhen

Football transfer market expert David Ornstein has reckons Victor Osimhen’s stock has fallen a bit.

He said the race for the Napoli stiker, who is being targeted by Arsenal and Chelsea, is set to go down to the wire.

Osimhen is all but ready and been wanting to leave the former Italian Serie A champions.

Chelsea have sold striker Romelu Lukaku to Napoli and that means that Osimhen is likely moving out in the next few days.

The Super Eagles striker, 26, has had a long line of suitors this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli also being in the fray apart from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Providing an update on the player’s situation, Ornstein said that it is not yet clear where the striker could move to.

He said as per TBR, “Victor Osimhen is one to watch right up until the deadline.

‘It would be remarkable to see him leave on loan, his stock has fallen a bit, options and obligations, could a permanent deal happen?

“Or does it not happen at all? He has to move by the sounds of it. PSG have been interested, but I don’t know if they will pursue it any further.”
