Transfer: Nwagua arrives Saudi Arabia to seal Al Saad club’s move

Rivers United captain, Nyima Nwagua has arrived in Saudi Arabia to complete a move to second-division side, Al Sadd-club.

Nwagua was met on arrival at the airport by Alsaad’s first team supervisor, Mohammad Al-Dosari.

The centre-forward will sign a one-year contract with Al Sadd club.

The former Kano Pillars striker spent three years at Rivers United.

Nwagua took over as the club’s captain at the start of last season following Austine Festus’ retirement from football.

He won the 2019 Federation Cup with Kano Pillars and the Nigeria Premier Football League title with Rivers United in the 2021/22 season.
