Biafra: Again, Ekpa demands demilitarisation of Igboland

Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, has again called for an end to the militarization of the region.

Ekpa, who is known as the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, made the demand in a statement on Saturday through his official X account.

He warned those who he said were commissioned to kill and cause mayhem on Biafrans to steer clear of the region.

Ekpa reiterated the call for Biafraland to be demilitarized for lasting peace to reign.

“Recall all security forces serving Nigeria within Biafraland and killing our people in Biafraland.

“Those of you still killing our people in Biafraland, you may not be this lucky,” he said.

This comes as Ekpa earlier announced December 2, 2024, as Biafra Declaration Day.

However, the Nigerian Government has vowed that it would repatriate him from his Finland base.
