NPFL: Rangers, Enyimba win rescheduled matches

Rangers and Enyimba won their rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League fixtures on Wednesday.

Holders Rangers recorded a 1-0 away win against Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

Captain Chinemerem Ugwueze’s 25th-minute strike separated both teams on the night.

The win was Rangers’ first in the NPFL this season.

Ikorodu City have recorded just one point from three games.

Enyimba claimed a 2-1 victory over Lobi Stars in Aba.

Yemi Olanrewaju’s side raced into a 2-0 lead with goals by Chinedu Ufere in the 13th minute and Eze Ekwutoziem from the penalty spot after 16 minutes of action.

Waheeb Adebayo reduced the deficit for Lobi Stars nine minutes before the break but the Makurdi club were unable to equalise.
