Remo Stars reclaimed the top position in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, after a 2-0 away win against Kano Pillars on Sunday.

Sodiq Ismail and Frank Mawuena got the goals for Remo Stars in the game.

Daniel Ogunmodede’s side are unbeaten in the NPFL this season.

At the New Jos Stadium, former champions Plateau United lost 2-1 to Niger Tornadoes.

Niger Tornadoes led 2-0 through goals from Ifeanyi Okechukwu and Kufre Ebong,while Pam Samuel reduced the deficit for the home team.
