Warri Wolves, Delta Queens management committee sacked

The Delta State Government has sacked the entire management board of the Nigeria National League, NNL side, Warri Wolves and Nigeria Women Football League club Delta Queens.

The disengagement was announced by the Delta State Sports Commission on Wednesday.

A new management board is expected to be put in place for the two clubs before the commencement of the new season.

Warri Wolves and Delta Queens are currently preparing for the 2024-25 season.

Both teams missed out on a championship playoff spot last season.

A date for the new season is yet to be announced by the organisers.
