Gov Uzodinma appoints ex-NAWOJ Chairperson, Emenalom Acting Head of Service

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has appointed the former chairperson of the National Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ of the State Council, Mrs Chikodi Emenalom, as the new Head of Service for the State Civil Service.

A press release issued from the desk of the Chief Press Secretary and media adviser to the governor, Oguwike Nwachukwu said the appointment takes immediate effect to replace the outgoing Head of service Raymond Ucheoma who, in line with the state civil service rules, retired from the position.

Nwachukwu stated that the Acting Head of Service comes into her new office with experience gathered over the years from different Ministries since joining the State Civil Service in 1990 as Information Officer.

He stated that the governor while congratulating Emenalom on the recent appointment enjoined her to bring her wealth of experience in the Service to bear in the discharge of her duties.
