Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has expressed concern over his players tiredness due to fixture congestion in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Mohammed cited accumulated exhaustion from recent long trips and matches for his team’s recent poor results.

The Ikon Allah Boys have lost their last two away games.

“The players are giving their all, but it obvious fatigue has set in,” Mohammed told Niger Tornadoes media.

“We needed to manage our squad carefully to avoid accumulation of injuries, that’s why we rested some players in this game so that they can regain some level of freshness.

“The long road trips are not helping our course, but for now, we don’t have any options, other than to keep managing the players at our disposal and taking the games as they come, in anticipation of better conditions.”

Niger Tornadoes will square up with Remo Stars in a matchday 15 fixture this weekend.
