Liverrool legend, Jamie Carragher, has claimed that Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker, has become a liability for the club.
Carragher feels the England international full-back is switching off a lot on the pitch and it is not something down to his age.
Carragher explained on Sky Sports that Walker does not look around and react quickly when the opponents are making runs behind him.
He added that the issue has been constant in the 34-year-old’s career.
“He can switch off and that’s always been the negative about him. He doesn’t look again and switches off.
“That has been a problem throughout his career. That has nothing to do with his age. He has become a little bit of a liability for Man City,” he said.
He stated this following Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah were the scorers for Liverpool as City continue their struggle.
