Majalisar Dinkin Duniya (MDD) ta bayyana damuwa kan yawan cin zarafin mata a Najeriya, tare da yin kira a dauki matakin gaggawa domin magance matsalar.

Wakilin MDD a Najeriya Mohammed M. Fall, ya nuna cewa alkaluman duniya sun nuna daya daga cikin mata uku na fuskantar cin zarafi, inda ake cin zarafin mace guda a kowane minti goma.

A cewarsa, a Najeriya, kashi 31 cikin 100 na mata masu shekaru tsakanin 15 zuwa 49 sun fuskanci cin zarafi, kamar yadda rahoton shekarar 2018 ya nuna. Sai dai, Fall ya yi nuni da cewa adadin na iya karuwa, musamman saboda rahotannin da ba’a bayyana ba musamman lokacin annobar COVID-19.

Ya yi kira da a samar da yanayi mai aminci da zai bai wa mata damar samun ingantaccen ilimi, aikin yi, kiwon lafiya, da kuma rayuwa mai inganci ba tare da tsoro ko matsin lamba ba. “Babu wata al’ada, kabila ko addini da ke halatta cin zarafin mata,” in ji shi.

Fall ya jaddada cewa ba zai yiwu MDD ta cimma wannan manufa ita kadai ba, yana mai kira ga shugabannin al’umma, shugabannin addini, da sauran jama’a da su hada kai domin kawo gyara a Najeriya.

Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ta kuma bukaci daukar kwararan matakai don tabbatar da kare hakkin mata da samar da ci gaba mai dorewa a kasar.
