The Police in Oleh Division, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested a 22-year-old man over alleged defilement of a 13-year-old physically impaired girl in Aviara community.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe disclosed this in a statement sent to DAILY POST.
The Police image maker said, “On 11/11/2024, at about 1415hours, an indigene (name withheld) of Aviara community reported at Oleh Police station that one Ezekiel Elijah ‘m’ a 22yrs old of the same community allegedly defiled his physically impaired daughter (name withheld), aged 13yrs old.”
According to Edafe,”Investigation revealed that the suspect lured the girl to his house on 10/11/2024 while she was running an errand for the father.
“The suspect locked her in his room and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
“The suspect is in custody and investigation is ongoing.”
