The Adamawa Emirate Council has released the names of acting district heads for the newly created districts.
This follows the Adamawa State Government’s recent creation of 83 new districts, 34 of which fall within the Adamawa Emirate.
A letter from the Adamawa Emirate Council conveying the names of the acting district heads did not include heads for two districts.
The letter, signed by the *Tariya Adamawa* and Acting Secretary of the Adamawa Emirate Council, Kabiru Bakari, clarified that information regarding the acting district heads of Murke and Sate is yet to be released.
The 32 new acting district heads include: Alhaji Umaru Mustapha for Mbamba District, Abubakar Gidado for Malkohi, Muhammadu Jingi for Bole/Yolde Pate District, Alhaji Abubakar Lawan for Ngurore, Pius Eli for Tsmbo/Bakopi, Rodani Kaigamba for Gereng, Abubakar Hammajam for Jibiro, Aloysius Nagsrwa for Benghun.
Other district heads include: Hassan Bello for Koksupa District, Shuaibu Liman for Malabu Kofa District, Sa’adu Abubakar for Wuro Sham, Halilu Ibrahim for Chigari, Shadrach Barub for Gbeng, Samson Auyerya for Dumne, Musa Tete for Chibauro, Alhaji Umaru Buba for Ndikong, Mr. Jeremiah Hammawa for Grngle, Abdulkarim Yakubu for Binyeri.
Alhaji Inuwa Darisonka is the acting district head for Gorobi, while Dahiru Bandike was appointed for Nasarawo Jereng, with Jimin Kashi taking charge of Bajama District.
Others include: Mahmud Abdulkadiri for Shangui District, Clifford Kadala for Uding, Henry Nudamatiya for Hyema, Anderson Tsowurada for Mugwahi District, Abdulnasir Iya Abbas for Mufa, Ibrahim Aliyu for Yadul, Ibrahim Ahmadu for Mayo Lope/Gashala, Hamidu Boga for Boga/Zangra, Rufus Irmiya for Bina, Esuwa Kadakali for Ngwaba, Jauro Abdurahman for Bugau Tawa.
