Former Watford captain, Troy Deeney has advised Manchester United to 24-year-old Antony out of the club.
According to Deeney, the Brazilian international doesn’t run or sprint during matches.
This comes after Antony produced another poor display in Man United’s Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
Antony was not really impressive during the encounter as he was replaced by Amad Diallo after only 55 minutes.
Speaking on CBS Sports studio, Deeney said it was frustrating watching the former Ajax star.
“They’ve got to cut ties with him [Antony]. I don’t want to make him the scapegoat but, honestly, watching him is so frustrating. This is your big moment,” Deeney said.
“He doesn’t run, he doesn’t sprint… just get him out.
“If you’re getting rid of Marcus Rashford, whoever is taking him, we’ll pay you to take him [Antony] as well. Get him out the club.”
