Akwa United have been boosted with the return of Abson Mare’s from injury ahead of their matchday 18 clash against Heartland.

Mare is fit for action again after recovering from an undisclosed injury.

The forward took part in the Promise Keepers training session on Thursday.

His return to action is a welcome development for the Uyo club, who are battling against relegation.

The forward is expected to boost the team’s attack.

Akwa United will entertain Heartland at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Monday.
