Ipswich are in talks with Chelsea over a loan deal for Armando Broja.
Discussions are thought to be in the early stages and the Blues prefer to sell the striker.
Broja is believed to have interest from Everton, Southampton, Stuttgart and at least one team from Italy.
The Chelsea academy graduate has been among several players training separately from the first team after being told he is not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham.
Meanwhile, Newcastle have made a fourth bid for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, reports the Daily Mail.
A third Newcastle offer of £55m plus £5m in add-ons was turned down on Thursday.
The England international remains Eddie Howe’s No 1 centre-back target.
Palace value Guehi at £65m and on Tuesday, Palace chairman, Steve Parish told Newcastle to pay a premium price to sign the 24-year-old, claiming “if you want a superstar player, you need to pay superstar money”.
