In response to John Azuta Mbata’s appointment as Ohanaeze Ndigbo’s president-general, he made this revelation on Sunday during a media meeting in Abuja. A few weeks ago, Azuta Mbata was chosen to be the President-General of Ohanaeze in Imo State. After former President-General Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu passed away and Fidelis Nze Chukwu finished his term, he rose to prominence.
“I’m an Ikwerre man, not an Igbo man,” Wike said in reference to Mbata.
