Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, was on the scoresheet as Bayer Leverkusen won the German Cup on Saturday.
Boniface opened the scoring from close range in the 11th minute.
But Stuttgart took the lead thanks to goals from Enzo Millot and Deniz Undav.
With Leverkusen looking to lose the match, Patrik Schick struck the equalizer in the 88th minute.
Xabi Alonso’s men went on to win the trophy after a penalty shoot-out.
It is the third title Alonso has won with the Bundesliga club.
