At the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Idi-Aba in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Adeniyi Oluwaseun, the acting head of the audit department, jumped into a well to end his own life. The deceased, who had been battling mental health issues and had previously received therapy, is survived by two spouses and three children, according to an unverified story. Additionally, it was discovered that one of Adeniyi’s children would marry in a month. Following its recovery from the well, the body was placed in a mortuary.
Segun Orisajo, the head of the FMC Abeokuta public relations and communication unit, verified the occurrence and conveyed the hospital’s profound sadness. He did, in fact, commit suicide. It was a regrettable event. “This development saddens the management,” Orisajo stated.
He characterized the late Adeniyi as a dedicated and industrious employee whose untimely passing shocked the whole medical community. “The whole management was caught off guard by the regrettable situation.
