Adibi passed away on Tuesday morning. From 1999 to 2003, he served as the federal representative for Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire in Oyo State for the now-defunct Alliance for Democracy party.
In April, the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was supposed to celebrate turning 65. The former congressman passed away soon after running in Ilorin, Kwara State, where he had been living, according to reports cited by the Daily Post. His followers were startled by his death, and Ogbomoso residents are in grief.
According to a close friend of the deceased politician, Adibi was in good health until his passing. He had even written on his WhatsApp status at 4 a.m. and had spoken with others the night before. Adibi was a well-respected politician in Oyo State who made important contributions to community development and local government. In addition, he was the Director-General of the Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA) and the Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council.
Adibi had a distinguished career in public service in addition to his tenure in the House of Representatives. During Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s first term, he was the Director-General of the Bill and Signage Board.
