pastor David Ibiyeomie
Ibiyeomie claims that this conduct is against the Bible and can impede one’s ability to flourish financially. Salvation Ministries pastor David Ibiyeomie has cautioned his congregation against extorting money from more senior pastors.
This will lessen their blessings, he said. Additionally, Ibiyeomie asserted that the habit of obtaining money from pastors is not biblical and can negatively impact one’s financial well-being. He stated:
“May I be honest with you? Never take money from an elderly man of God, even though it can be difficult. Your blessing is being diminished. Drawing on his personal experience, Pastor Ibiyeomie disclosed that, despite difficulties, he has never sought financial assistance from Bishop David Oyedepo, his spiritual mentor.
“I won’t be the last to get paid by Oyedepo, not because there aren’t any difficulties. It doesn’t operate that way. The cleric went on to say: “Today, I can make a difference in the lives of senior men.” However, I won’t go and ask, “Can you help me, Pastor Femi?” It isn’t found in the Bible. You are decreasing your success if you take money from an elderly man. Instill virtue in the elder man to advance him.
