Arsenal have rejected an offer from Nottingham Forest for Eddie Nketiah, according to The Sun.
The striker has been deemed surplus to requirements by Mikel Arteta and is expected to leave the club this summer.
Nketiah has had talks to join Marseille collapse after the Ligue 1 giants failed to strike a deal with the north London side.
Forest are now planning to sign him to provide competition for Taiwo Awoniyi.
Forest have made an offer of £25m plus add-ons for the striker, the same as Marseille.
However, the offer has been rejected by Arsenal, who want in excess of £30m.
This saga could now go down to the wire, with just over a week left in the summer transfer window.
The Emirates hierarchy, however, could soften their stance soon as a move will help them adhere to FFP regulations.
