Transfer: I have strong feelings about Raheem Sterling – Arteta admits

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted he has “strong feelings” about Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling.

Arteta stated this on Friday in response to a question on whether or not he is tempted to make a move for Sterling.

Sterling has been exiled by Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge and is looking to move this summer.

Arteta worked with the England international during his time as Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City.

He told reporters: “My time with Raheem was exceptional. We built a really strong relationship together.

“He was unbelievable at that time. He taught me a lot as well, about individuals, how they think, how we support them. He is someone I have really strong feelings about.”
