CAF Champions League: Rangers scale through US Zilimadjou hurdle

Nigerian Rangers are through to the first round of the CAF Champions League following a 1-1 draw against US Zilimadjou of Comoros in Uyo on Friday.

The Flying Antelopes won the preliminary round contest 2-1 on aggregate.

Kenechukwu Agu gave Rangers the lead from the spot in the 79th minute.

The visitors, however, equalised six minutes from time.

Nigeria’s other representative in the competition, Remo Stars will face AS FAR of Morocco on Sunday.

The Sky Blue Stars hold a 2-1 advantage from the first leg.
