Former State lawmaker Blyden Amajuruonwu, who represented the Ngor-Okpala State Constituency, and Cajethan Duke, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, or APC, Imo State chapter, have both resigned from the party. According to Duke, their decision to resign was the result of careful consideration of joining and aligning with the new political movement led by Chima Amadi in order to create a new political climate that would usher in a new era for the State’s economic development and prosperity.
I would like to inform this esteemed audience and the general public of my decision to step down as the State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Imo State, with effect from today, Friday, February 14, 2025, with the utmost humility and sense of responsibility. “This decision was not taken lightly, but after careful consideration, I have decided to move on to a new challenge that aligns with my values and goals,” he said.
