His group operated in Southeast Asia, Africa, Korea, America, and Europe. They smuggled drugs and set up investment and romantic scams to trick gullible people into becoming drug couriers. Under false pretenses of bringing gifts, victims were duped into carrying backpacks, groceries, or drug-laced candies.
One of them, a fifty-year-old Korean woman, was apprehended last year while inadvertently carrying cocaine from Brazil to Cambodia through Korea. K Jeff has been connected by authorities to a Nigerian narcotics network that was first dismantled in Korea in 2021. To date, the Korean NIS has detained 38 members of his network and recovered 45.6 kg of drugs, including 28.4 kg of methamphetamine. K Jeff had carried on his illicit activities, smuggling drugs from Nigeria into Korea and other countries.
