The National Assembly chamber had a voice vote in which the parliamentarians granted the President’s request, according to The Cable. Following reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will require the consent of a two-thirds majority in the House, this comes now.
Reacting, Oby Ezekwesili stated that a time will come when a man will face reality. She said right now, every citizen of Nigeria must choose a side.
The former Minister of Education said no country has ever built the Institutions necessary for prosperity and security without defined shared values.
According to Oby Ezekwesili on her official X account;
