The former governor claims that Buhari requested delegates to vote their conscience before the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

“When I met with the delegates in Kaduna State, they told me that they would vote for Tinubu because he has the necessary skills to win the election,” he stated.

I advised them to hold off while I spoke with the president and inquired about his preferences. When I finally got to meet Buhari, he advised me to urge the delegates to cast their conscience votes.
