Omoyele Sowore, a human rights activist, explained why he and many attorneys accompanied Youth Corper Ushie Uguamaye to the NYSC Center on Monday. He disclosed that the woman was called to the NYSC Center without a valid reason during an interview with Arise TV on Monday. Motivated by this realization, he made the decision to go with her in order to protect her and to learn the mistake that resulted in her being summoned by the Local Government Inspector (LGI) right away.Omoyele Sowore also revealed that they saw the woman was called Uguamaye to threaten her about the viral video. According to him, the women already looked sober at that point after realizing she might have made a wrong move by threatening the NYSC Corper.

He said: “We met the lady who apparently called her on phone and lambasted and threatened her but we opted not to engage with her because by the time we got there she was already sober. They realized what they were up against so there was no point, we focused on the business of the day which is to meet the (LGI) Local Government Inspector of the NYSC who we believed absconded”.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
