NPFL: Abia Warriors’ Megwo targets maximum points against Shooting Stars

Abia Warriors forward, Sunday Megwo, has said the Umuahia club will do their best to secure maximum points against Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Sunday.

Imama Amapakabo’s side heads into the game in confident mood following a 2-0 home win over Katsina United in midweek.

Shooting Stars, on the other hand, lost 2-0 to Remo Stars in their last fixture.

Megwo, who is Abia Warriors’ top scorer this season, is optimistic they can get a positive result at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.

“We are going into this match with the mindset of winning,” Megwo told the club’s media.

“We know that it will be a tough game against Shooting Stars, but we are confident in our ability to get the three points.”
