Speaking on ARISE News, George, a respected PDP elder, warned that failing to act against Wike’s actions would render party leaders “irresponsible.”

The criticism stems from Wike’s controversial political maneuvers, particularly his role in the escalating crisis in Rivers State and his alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s administration. George, leveraging his experience as a “general” in Nigerian politics, expressed deep concern over Wike’s recent actions, including his inflammatory rhetoric and perceived undermining of democratic norms. “It is shameful,” George stated, emphasizing the need for decisive action to restore order within the PDP and safeguard Nigeria’s political stability.

The backdrop to George’s comments includes Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, which has suspended elected officials and intensified political tensions.
