The Supreme Council of UNIPGC Africa has confirmed His Excellency Ibrahim Traore’s award at the 14th Pan African Leadership Symposium and Honors (PALESH NIGERIA 2025) with the utmost honor and respect. Through a ratification process and approval by UNIPGC Global President His Excellency Amb Dr Jonathan Ojadah, the event’s steering committee—which is made up of reputable individuals from various African nations—was presided over by former Liberian Vice President His Excellency Chief Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor.
In a statement issued yesterday, Senior Special Assistant to the President of Burkina Faso Dr. Kalkomundo Samuel expressed his happiness and praised the organization for identifying H. E. Ibrahim Traoré as a prominent African leader who has proven himself capable of receiving the Grand Commander of Peace (GCOP) international award for leadership excellence for peace within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG Agenda 16) of peace, justice, and strong institutions.
This award honors the president of Burkina Faso’s outstanding contributions to the development and transformation of the nation. He has started an ambitious agenda to advance economic growth, increase agricultural output, and improve health care since taking office as president of Burkina Faso. His political choices and leadership style have set Burkina Faso on the course that all Africans refer to as the “African Revolution.”
His directive has permanently altered Burkina Faso’s course. At the age of 36, he has defied expectations as the youngest president in history, guiding Burkina Faso toward independence and swift progress. His administration’s audacious plans for industrial growth, healthcare, and agriculture have revitalized long-suffering industries. His vision of a self-sufficient Burkina Faso is gradually coming to fruition, from mobile clinics that provide medical care to remote places to the distribution of tractors that transform agricultural techniques, the revitalization of regional textile businesses, and the revamping of the gold sector.
