Ekerette Udom has penned an emotional farewell message to the Nigerian Premier Football League side, Rivers United.
Udom left Rivers United to join the Spanish side, Villarreal B side.
The towering defender joined the former NPFL champions at the start of the 2023-24 season from Sunshine Stars.
“With heartfelt gratitude, I pen down this emotional farewell message to a family that has been a strong influence on my career, special thanks to the management, coaches, staff, teammates (Trojans),” Udom wrote on X account.
“To the ever-ready supporters, thank you for the love, support and trust you gave to me, the memories will live forever, I love you all.
“I wish us luck in the coming season and future. A pride of RIVERS I remain, Thank you Rivers United, Thank you Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL.”
Udom previously played for Dakadda FC.
