Punch reported that Mr. ThankGod Ado, the President-General of Uduophori, made a strong statement. “Freedom Akpodiete, one of our brothers, was attacked and lost his hand. How much longer must we endure this pain? “President Tinubu, rescue us!” and “Stop raping our wives and daughters!” were among the signs held by protesters who stopped the East-West expressway. Henry Emaduku, chairman of the Motorcycle/Keke riders, recounted past attacks. “In 2023, Oghenegarhe Asadera lost his hand. In 2024, they attacked our head teacher. Now, in 2025, it’s Akpodiete.” He added, “Our primary school is shut. Herdsmen have taken over. We are not safe.”
