The aftermath left him bedridden for two years, forcing him to sell his possessions to make ends meet. Branch attributes the incident to spiritual forces, revealing that two separate pastors had forewarned him about the dangers of pursuing the project.

One pastor even cautioned that spiritual attacks had just begun and that if Branch didn’t leave the project, more attacks would follow. This warning proved prophetic, as Branch believes the spiritual attacks were the reason behind his accident. He ultimately decided to distance himself from the Yoruba Nollywood industry, convinced that continued involvement would invite further harm.
