Ballon d’Or: He’s one of the best – Kimmich blasts organizers for snubbing team-mate

Bayern Munich midfielder, Joshua Kimmich, has lashed out at the Ballon d’Or organizers for snubbing his team-mate, Jamal Musiala, from the nominee shortlist published earlier this week.

Musiala was left out of the list of 30 players up for the prize this year.

Speaking after Germany’s 5-0 win over Hungary in the Nations League on Saturday, Kimmich described Musiala as one of the best players in the world.

Kimmich said: “I don’t know what criteria are used to decide the Ballon d’Or list.

“The best players should actually be on this list. And Jamal is definitely one of them.

“He showed that again today.”

Musiala scored one and laid one three assists in the win against Hungary
