LaLiga: Their attacking players play in same position – Kubo reveals major problem with Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid player, Takefusa Kubo has given his opinion as to why Real Madrid have not started the season as expected of them to.

The champions are undefeated this season with two wins and two draws but are four points behind Barcelona who have won four out of four.

Real Madrid face Real Sociedad in their next game and they will go up against a familiar face in Takefusa Kubo.

Kubo was 19-year-old when he was signed by Real Madrid in 2019 on a five-year deal.

He failed to break into the senior team and after loan spells at Mallorca, Valencia, and Getafe, was eventually sold to Real Sociedad in 2022.

Now 23, the Japan International has established himself with Real Sociedad and is one of the first names on the team sheet.

Ahead of his meeting with his former side, MARCA quoted the Japanese assessing Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

He believes that the similarities of the attacking players in Real Madrid has made it difficult for Los Blancos to flourish so far.

“I think Real Madrid’s 3 attacking players all play the same position, and that’s why they’re not performing at their best level,” Kubo said.
