EPL: I’m not leaving – Chelsea midfielder tells Maresca

Chelsea midfielder, Cesare Casadei, has made it clear he is not thinking of leaving the club next year.

Casadei had revealed his decision to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer when he had the option of going out on loan.

Since then, the Italian has yet to feature in the Premier League this season, being an unused substitute on two occasions.

He, however, did play the full 90 minutes in our 5-0 win over Barrow in the League Cup.

Casadei said: “I’m not thinking of leaving Chelsea in January, not now.

“It was my decision to stay and not go out on loan, after speaking to Maresca.

“I never had plans to leave permanently. I always wanted to play for Chelsea, one of the biggest teams in the world.”
