The issue between Wizkid and Davido reignited on October 1, 2024, after Wizkid posted a cryptic tweet that many believed was aimed at Davido and this followed Davido’s release of a snippet from his upcoming single for 2024.

Tensions expanded as both artists exchanged insults and personal jabs on social media, drawing widespread attention.

Wizkid was also planning to release a track from his upcoming album, Morayo, around the same time, intensifying the competition, as the feud further expanded when Davido’s associate, Kayode Yajaur, also known as Black Tycoone, mocked Wizkid for delaying his album release, which brought response from Wizkid

“Tell your Daddy to drop an album already,” he tweeted.

In response to the ongoing drama, Portable took to Instagram to share his thoughts and criticized both Wizkid and Davido, accusing them of using their rivalry for promotion rather than focusing on their music.

Portable expressed that their songs are not selling as well anymore and that the feud is a tactic to keep their names in the spotlight.
