My Babymama Wanted Me to Go to Prison So She Could Tell My Child That I am a Criminal – Omosowon

Yoruba Nollywood actor and producer, Temitope Omosowon, has revealed shocking details about his past relationship with his ex-girlfriend, whom he describes as his babymama. In a candid interview, Omosowon recounted a troubling incident where his ex-girlfriend allegedly conspired to have him arrested and sent to prison to tarnish his reputation in the eyes of his child.

According to Omosowon, while he was dating a younger woman in his neighborhood after breaking up with his first girlfriend, he was set up by the ex. She had reportedly orchestrated a scheme involving a false accusation of fraud. The plan was for Omosowon to be arrested by the police for allegedly taking money from a lady and failing to deliver a promised service. Unbeknownst to him, the woman involved in the accusation was in communication with his ex-girlfriend, who had planned the entire ordeal.

During his time at the police station, Omosowon confronted the lady involved in the setup. She revealed that his babymama was behind the false charges. The ex-girlfriend’s intention, as explained by the lady, was to have Omosowon arrested, imprisoned, and publicly humiliated. The ultimate goal, according to Omosowon, was to paint him as a criminal in front of their child, allowing his ex to tell their child that their father was a criminal.

Omosowon, however, was quick to act. After confirming the details of the plot, he took immediate steps to clear his name. He repaid the money that had allegedly been taken, and the matter was eventually resolved.

He said: “After I broke up with my babymama, I started dating a younger girl in the neighborhood. Unknown to me, my babymama was already aware of this new relationship—she had the girl’s number, and they were communicating. One day, while traveling to Ife, the police arrested me, accusing me of collecting money from a lady for a job and failing to deliver. While I was at the station, I saw the girl and asked her why she planned all this. She told me someone had told her I had already spent the money she gave me.”

“Immediately, I asked for her account number and returned the money. Then she started confessing that someone had asked her to set me up. When I asked who it was, she said it was my ex-girlfriend—and I confirmed it. My babymama admitted she intentionally set me up because I didn’t accept her pregnancy. She even told my new girlfriend to take a picture of me in a prison uniform just so she could show it to my child and say her dad is a criminal,” he added.
