Man United 2-0 Everton
United moved closer to sealing a top-three finish with a comfortable win at Leigh Sports Village. Everton started brightly, even having an early goal ruled out for handball, but a mistake from goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan gifted United the lead in the 22nd minute. Dominique Janssen capitalized on Brosnan’s error to slot home.
Grace Clinton then produced a moment of brilliance just after halftime, flicking Leah Galton’s cross into the bottom corner. United controlled the remainder of the game, with only a fine Brosnan save denying Melvine Malard a third. The win briefly took them into second before Arsenal’s victory later in the day.
Crystal Palace 4-0 Arsenal
Arsenal continued their push for the title with a commanding win over bottom-placed Crystal Palace. Beth Mead, reaching a personal milestone with her 50th and 51st WSL goals, opened the scoring with a well-taken volley. Alessia Russo doubled the lead after a well-timed pass from Mariona Caldentey.
An own goal from Palace’s Allyson Swaby made it 3-0 before Mead rounded off the scoring in stoppage time with a stunning top-corner finish. The result keeps Arsenal six points behind Chelsea and firmly in the title race.
Liverpool 1-2 Aston Villa
Liverpool’s Champions League hopes took a hit as they lost to relegation-threatened Aston Villa. Marie Hobinger had put Liverpool ahead with a well-placed penalty after Ceri Holland was brought down in the box. However, Villa responded strongly, with substitute Kirsty Hanson rounding the keeper to level the match.
Liverpool’s fate was sealed when Jenna Clark diverted Ebony Salmon’s cross into her own net, handing Villa a crucial three points. The win gives Villa a four-point cushion above bottom-placed Palace, boosting their survival hopes.
Chelsea 2-2 West Ham
League leaders Chelsea saw their winning run halted as West Ham snatched a late equalizer at Kingsmeadow. The Blues raced into a two-goal lead inside 21 minutes, with Maika Hamano and Aggie Beever-Jones on the scoresheet. However, missed chances proved costly as West Ham found a way back.
Shekiera Martinez reduced the deficit just before halftime before stunning Chelsea with a stoppage-time header to secure a 2-2 draw. The result trims Chelsea’s lead at the top to six points but keeps them unbeaten this season.
