The statement said, “We are happy to confirm that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s visit to Kogi Central Senatorial District in Sallah will go as planned.” “Our office has not formally announced the cancellation of this visit, despite internet rumors to the contrary.”
She urged her people to join her in celebrating Eid-el-Fitr in huge numbers, emphasizing that she had an obligation to them as a lawmaker. “As the senator for Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is steadfast in her resolve to interact with her community and promote harmony and collaboration.

Following the recent killings of two people in Kasemiya, Katubo, and Umozu Ette in Kogi West, the Kogi State Government limited fishing and other activities along with outlawing all rallies and public meetings for security reasons.
Kingsley Fanwo, Kogi’s Information Commissioner, said on Monday that the prohibition was intended to stop any security risks that would disturb the state’s tranquility. In Kogi Central, Fanwo said, intelligence assessments indicated that certain groups were preparing to “stage some violent rallies in the guise of political and religious agitations.” Senate President Godswill Akpabio has also been accused of sexual harassment by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was recently suspended for six months for opposing a change in seating arrangements.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
