Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that forward Kylian Mbappe will not play his side’s next LaLiga match against Rayo Vallecano.
Ancelotti’s side will face Rayo Vallecano in an away LaLiga tie on Saturday night.
But Mbappe will not take part in the game at Estadio de Vallecas due to injury.
The France international sustained a thigh injury during Real Madrid’s Champions League victory over Atalanta in midweek.
Mbappe is currently recovering from the injury and Ancelotti has now confirmed that the attacker will travel for the away game but will not play against the hosts.
“Kylian Mbappé will NOT play tomorrow… but he will travel for the Intercontinental Cup in Doha,” Ancelotti said at his pre-match interview as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
“We will see if he plays. We will see.”
The kick-off time for the match is 9pm Nigerian time.
