Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has admitted Erling Haaland is nursing an injury issue as they remain winless in preseason.
The Premier League champions are worried about the fitness of their No 9, as the new season approaches.
Haaland, who has won the Golden Boot in his two seasons at the club, is having to play limited minutes during pre-season.
“Erling is not comfortable. We don’t want to take risks,” Guardiola confirmed.
“But sooner or later he has to take a step with training and minutes. The season is there, around the corner.
“He has niggles, muscular, we don’t want to take a risk and lose him for three weeks or a month. That would be a problem.”
